Just given the last coupla days with upcoming deadlines and with the odcsss thing and trying to find a webcam that's still on sale but supported by the stock kernel found in fedora core 4 (fun times people, fun times) and the like... I decided I needed to destress.
So I went to juggling to just work out my stresses through waving masses around on the ends of strings or chain. Was quite fun! Also learnt some new things... And found out that the form of the butterfly I find easier is one that others consider to be the harder one. There again, the other one, I find more difficult. But still cool. I now know "threading the needle". I'm not sure how it looks to other people, but it's great fun to do! It really works out your timing and co-ordination! I like.
Also, I'm seriously considering making some sock poi. Partially for completeness of my collection, and partially because it makes things like stalls easier... which I was also shown, but I still find difficult.
But yeah, poi rocks. So do the jugglers - even though I'm a bit of an antisocialite and tend not to mix much yet.
