Some things strike me:
- And One seems to turn out the campest techno I ever did hear.
- On balance, one really shouldn't have to get a CD key from serialz.to in order to play a game one buys.
In plain english (non-techy version): I bought a game about a month ago. I've only installed it recently. When I tried installing it, it asked me for a number that should have been in my CD case somewhere (this number proves that I've bought the game and haven't stolen it), but was missing. I'd since gone to a site where software pirates trade these sorts of numbers to activate copies of the game that they didn't buy, and downloaded such a number. I really shouldn't have to do that, just to play a game. *sigh*
- I really need just a spare computer that I can afford to break by experimenting with many shiny things. Like playing with LVM etc etc... I should start on my Gir computer project again.
