|Breaking and fixing stuff

This is just a quickie... I had to log on and share.
I've always had the idea that knowing your way around a computer meant breaking your system and then figuring out how to fix it. That still holds. And it's none the less painful the nth time you do it!
I fixed it though... and it was a big problem mainly because I couldn't run a program called Eclipse, which is what I do most of my coding on (wow, that sounds like "watching ma stories" - "That's ma thinkin' box whut I gone do my codiene on!", not at all far from "Ka-wyett! Ah'm watching ma stories!" (note: is that intellectual snobbery, or is it just me liking playing with accents?)). Anywho, it was broken. It was broken badly.
I figured that something I'd installed over the last few days were the culprit what done me wrong! (Must shake accent now!) Problem was, heh, I'd happened to have installed quite a lot over the last while. What a joy.
About an hour of pulling my hair out was spent. It was painful.
I'll bitch about that and more tomorrow. But now I need sleep... twas a tiring day, and I've been up longer than anticipated because of that fucking problem! 'twas a good day though... so I'll share more on that as well tomorrow.
