I pinged on facebook about this, but I know some people who might be interested aren't on there.
So, background: There's a band called Crooked Still , and they're quite a good blue-grass-ish band; the singer's voice is quite unique, and they have a habit of slightly queering songs (only slightly - it's a by-product of singing songs that were traditionally sung by men, and putting them in a female context, so a few pronouns and names changed, nothing major).
If I haven't foisted their music on you, you can some examples of their stuff on Crooked Still's MyFace, or some youtube videos .
Anyway, they're playing Dublin on the 16th of March in Whelans .
So, anyone interested? If it helps, it's the day before Paddy's Day, so it's more than likely the night before the day off anyway.
