Ok, so it's a wee bit emo, but I found out who did the music for DeathNote - it's a band called Maximum The Hormone. Lots of bouncy fun metal. I realise that looking at the translated lyrics at the end credits of Death Note that it may not be the most un-emo of songs, I kinda like Zetsubou Billy.
That is all.
Maximum The Hormone are cool! THey rock, like Papa Roach before they sold their souls to Pepsi. I have a playlist on my youtube of a couple of their songs (http://www.youtube.com/ryangannon
) only 10h 20m till the last ever episode!!! I've been listening to the OST over and over. "L's Theme" is now my ring tone!
Yeah, I have the OST as well... (two different sources, which means I do actually have the series 1 and 2 opening and ending themes)
For some reason, I feel really tempted to get some sort of video camera and make a fake death note in Irish. We have all the music to do so.
I mean, as we reach a climax, we can play L's theme etc.
I'm emailing you the font I was going to use to do similar. Great mind and all that.
I also have both themes.
PS Rock chicks are hot but Aisan rock chicks are HOTTER.
Also on the theme front, I'm doing my best to get both the TV versions and the longer versions. I have no real idea why, but I'm just going on a soundtrack thing at the moment.
And in a final moment of sadness, I burned a CD last night for my alarm clock that has the Death note themes on there, plus 2 other songs. Should be fun to wake up to...
I have the longer ones. The green place, with the little demon with the pitchfork has both of them.
I try to avoid the absinthe demon when I can, due to ratio pressures (I'm already getting a 1.9G download from there, so I'll be serving for quite a while to come to get to my 3x ratio again)
) tends to be the absinthe demon's source for anime osts anyway, so try there next time you get an urge. They seem to be pretty cool.
Thanks, will take a look.
PS Ryan got goodies today, the kind that will look good at Freshers'. Will inform you and all the past committees later.
