|What are you doing on valentine's?

1/ Sun announced a profit a few days back. And the share price today was $6.66 (a 52-week high) - I'm all kinds of happy. Especially if holds out for a while. Given that we have loads of interesting products due, it's looking good. There's LDoms (I'm linking so that I'm showing that I'm not leaking info or anything) - plus we have some REALLY shiny systems coming out. So things are looking up. The place where I'm working, I'm close to both developments. It's kinda cool.
Translation for non-nerds: I'm close to all kinds of shiny, and once I finish my current project I may get to play with some real shiny.
2/ More cool. My boss is what's called Test Boss for the next Solaris release. That means he has to knock the heads of about 100 other managers to get bugs dealt with before the next release. So, I'm writing stuff to help him manage these things. He's also restarting what are called Bug Courts for this release.
Today, he came up to me and announced that on February 14th, I'd be attending the bug courts along with him. Apparently I'm playing no small role in this one. So this is kinda cool... and the responsibility scares me, but still kinda cool. Yay.
Translation for non-nerds: My boss wasn't lying when he said "We throw our interns in the deep end". Other bit is, I've got plans for Valentines.
