Wheeee!

I saw the Dresden Dolls gig last night! Myself, Jack and the Marks were up near the front! SO GOOD!

Brian is an absolutely amazingly sickenly talented drummer, and a brilliant performer! When he was playing early on to Missed Me, it just made me laugh. I guess the noob mistake is to look at Amanda for all of it, but Brian is by far the one to watch on stage! Unfortunately I was watching him when the chair went from under Amanda.

I really liked the fact that she heard my suggestion of Springtime for Hitler as the anti-war song that was older than Sabbath's War Pigs. Unfortunately she didn't sing it. But yeah, absolutely brilliant anyway.

Also Jack has a cool photo of himself and myself with Amanda and Brian. I may have acted like a total fan-boy fan-girl fandrogyne in front of Amanda... mainly just telling her that I was a more than minor fan of Half Jack, while stumbling all over my words. Also I got my labcoat signed by both of them!

Great fun overall!

Re: Cool

People call that my "Outdoor voice". :)

But yeah, I was the first one to shout that, then abeyc joined in just after.

I was also the person that started the "We want Cock" chant... And possibly the "I came here for the balloons and hookers! I got the balloons, now gimme the hookers!" comment.

And myself and granite_lullaby starting mass hysteria by the two of us screeching (we did that before any music as well, deafening the "Sell your soul for a cookie" girl), and then the smoke machine went on, causing everyone to look at the stage and scream too, making us wonder what was going on on the stage... D'oh. :)

So yeah... Loud!

Strangely, I wasn't drunk... or in any other way intoxicated.

But yeah, thanks for a completely random post! And your first comment from your account I see. :) *grin*
