Yah, boo, sucks. Right now I'm into Exam season - just like half the other people on my friends list. AI was good though: it required two questions to be done, and two were duly done - genetic algorithms and search trees.
Now I've to panic about other things like graphics, which I've done next to no study for. Joy.
In general, things seem ok. I got a reply recently from a proposal to Joe Kiniry, about a software project next semester - he seems to be on for me getting a group to do a mud in python. So I'm quite happy to see that go ahead. Turns out he's an old mud/moo-head himself, which is good, because it means he gets what I'm trying to do. The downside is, he's used to muds and the like, so he'll probably have a high standard of what he expects. There again, it's 3rd year, he's going to have a high standard regardless!
On other news fronts, got a call from IBM yesterday to remind me that I should submit my CV to them. It's funny, when they were giving the aptitude tests they made sure we knew "Remember, we won't be chasing you up on this. It's your own responsibility". And now, well, seeing that I got a phone call, I'd call that chasing us up.
Anywho, if I end up on the Extreme Blue thing that'd be majorly cool. I'd still hope for a year at Sun though, still my first preference, but a summer at IBM would also be good.
So that's it for me. Except I've seen penguins, but that's for another post.
