I'm about to head off to an EGM of a group whose members are so contentious that they'd argue tooth and nail over world peace, on a good day. As I mentioned yesterday, mercury is retrograde, meaning that it's not a good time to make/commit to plans, nor is it a good time for communication - the message almost invariably screws up.
Couple this with knowing that this particular group has skipped official bits in previous general meetings, with the attitude of who would know, admitted to 'creative accounting' at said AGMs (seriously, wtf? - ok, in reality it wasn't as bad as that, BUT they still used the words 'creative accounting') and also knowing how important the motions are at this emergency general meeting. What could possibly go wrong today?
