I keep finding myself amazed by the interplay between Irish and English. I just found myself using a phrase which was more me translating an Irish phrase to English.

"We could watch Zero Puncuation out loud, but Hamish would probably want to put in to that as well. Now, that was mainly me translating "ag cur isteach", which in my mind means a kind of interfering/interrupting contribution to a conversation.

It's not all that important or anyfink, I just found it interesting.

Yeah it's kinda cool. The Wikipedia page on Hiberno-English is very good.
