So, I was at An Fainne last night. 'twas fun. We were talking about licquorice and the oppression of licquorice eaters and suchlike, oh and Elements in personality, and from that we got onto Names. Ok, we got onto names more from the Elements than from the propaganda of those evil licquorice haters... but anyway, the point is, licquorice is good.

It came time to decide the topic for next month, and I suggested that we continue on the names theme. That means I'm writing the article for next month.

Little note of context: I'm not really out at An Fainne. Or rather, I go by the name that my parents would expect me to be known as if ever they went along. Anyway, Neil just asked "Aoife, are you heading now?"

That was when the best line happened (and yes, I had been thinking about this for a while, and was one of the reasons I suggested it in the first place). Marion just said something along the lines of (I had alcohol on me, I don't quite remember) "I suppose you, of all people, would be the most qualified to write about names."

Just thought I'd share. :)

OMG!! You go to Fáinne, too? Geez, the world just shrank again .... I went along to the very first few, back in the days when it was in the GoD Café. Wowz ...

Is Marion, Marion E. by any chance?

Yeah, I've been going on and off for the last while (when it was in that place under Dr Jelly's office). I don't think Marion is Marion E. but Marion R... unless names have changed, but I doubt it.

Liquorice is evil. EVIL. We must remove this evil from the world. Death to non-believers!
